Laced Up Sweater OOTD

Hi Everyone!
So I decided that I would try to do more outfit blogs. I am not much of a blogger but I will try it out and keep you guys posted. This is one of my favorite new sweaters that I order from Romwe. I posted this picture a while back on my Instagram and I am in love with the way it turned out. I think it is being autumn is my favorite season with Halloween  and my little brother's and boyfriend's birthday (both on the same day October 4th). I love the way the trees and leaves turned out in this picture! I think it is all thanks to Instagram's awesome filters hahaha.

I also shot a couple more pictures, thanks to my boyfriend for shooting them =). The back on this sweater is so lovely that I wanted to show it off all of the time. 

If you look closely I am reading a bird book =P. I actually got this book as a present after I was done with my second year of field work in avian ecology.

Leggings From Forever21 & Report Booties From Hautelook

 If you guys haven't noticed I am a total legging addict this fall also. I just love wearing something that is thicker than tights more comfortable than jeans and just simple enough that any top or dress paired with it will stick out. Also being a shorty (5'1) I love these platform booties. I found them on sale and had to get them since they were basic and could match almost EVERYTHING in my wardrobe. I love the fact that the platform and heel make the shoes comfortable to wear over a long period of time since I suck at wearing heels. I think platform heel are the best for any high heels newbie who suck at wearing anything that is over 3" high. Believe it or not these babies are 5" high and I could wear them all day long and walk just fine!

I was so excited for this because living in the city I had a hard time finding a flat and smooth area to practice skating. I just started to learn inline skating a few months ago and I am just terrible at steer and stopping these babies. It was sad after wearing them for a little bit my feet were achy because I barely use them anymore. Anyhow, hope you guys enjoy this!
