How to Get Sparkly Gold Nails

First Apply two layers of base coat on your nails. I used OPI base coat for natural nails. This will protected your nails from yellowing and staining (since we are using dark colored polishes).

Now apply a black coat (two coats).

Now apply the gold glitter. Do NOT stroke the polish on because you want the glitter to be thick on your nails. Dab on the polish so you can control where the glitter goes. Apply two coats (make sure the first coat dries completely before you paint on the second coat). Then apply a top coat for a shiny and sparkly finish ( I used Essie Top Coat).

My first Louboutins

This is my birthday present to myself! LOL

Other than a laptop, these shoes are probably the BIGGEST investment I have made. They are perfection ( I love shoes, like Carrie Bradshaw) . I think they are worth it all and will probably last me a long time. I know that there are fakes that are sold of these at the faction of the price but I would NEVER be tempted to buy them. When I was younger I used to think that it was ok to buy fakes but now I realize that #1. the quality will never live up to the real things #2. the designers are being taken advantage of.

For example if you had this really big exam and you have taken weeks out of your time studying and preparing for it. When you take the exam some random person next to you decides to cheat and copies you. This person and you both get A's at the end. I think if you were the one doing ALL of the work and studying, you would be pissed off that the person got the same grade as you but did nothing to earn it.

Anyhow enough of my rambling here they are. They are super COMFORTABLE! And they are in the size 36 which is equivalent to a 6 in US sizing. I bought mine at Saks Fifth Ave. and they retailed to $595. Over all including handling and shipping/taxes was about $630.

What does A Hanh Barbie mean?

I haven't done a "real" entry in a longggg time, so I thought it was nice to write about something that I have been questioned a lot about.

So, what does A Hanh Barbie mean?

A - singular form

Hanh - my name

Barbie- a stereo typic doll of the "perfect" woman

You may ask, why would you want this name?

My thought when I first came up with this name was to break the stereotype. I didn't want my name to come off as a mold or an extremely girly girl who is super materialistic. But instead my name is meant to be someone who is their own person. An individual who is beautiful in their own way and not apart of the typical mold that society tries to make women in to.

I am my own barbie. I can be beautiful in my own way. I am not blonde, tall, or domesticated. I am strong. I am unique in my own way. I am true to myself. I am far from perfect. And you don't need to be in order to be beautiful. Beauty comes in all shapes, forms, and colors.

I hope that after reading this you realize what if you haven't already. You are the most beautiful when you are yourself.

Small Lingerie Haul

They were all so pretty! haha I wanted to have everything. I mostly have very essential bras that are either nude or black and they are smooth so I can wear them under anything and everything. I don't have many fancy bras that are lacy so I decided to get some =).

"My budget"..

I kinda had a limit on how much everything is. I decided to buy bras around 20 bucks (and under 30) which i think is reasonable, since this stuff is suppose to be "discount" anyways I didn't want to get something that costed a fortune . And i didnt want to spend too much on underwear so 12 bucks and below was ok. I didn't get alot because some of the bras looked weird or wasn't my size. I am usually a 34 A (at VS) but i am not familiar with this brand so i stuck with the 32A.

Cover Girl Eye lights mascara - black pearl

Gives volume and length to your lashes. It separates them and the color is suppose to enhance your eye color also. I have dark brown eyes and the black pearl color works great with it !
